The Parish Council meeting on the 27th May 2020 has been postponed
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we have postponed the meeting later this month. We hope to meet again soon but of course we don't know as yet when that will be able to go ahead. We will keep you updated as we receive more information.
Allostock is one of the largest civil parishes in Cheshire with an area of approximately 3000 acres yet it remains attractive mainly open countryside and its rural village of around 800 residents lies at the centre of some of Cheshire’s richest agricultural land.
Allostock is situated 21 miles south of Manchester, 24 miles west of Chester, just 5 miles from Knutsford and is easily accessible from Junction 18 or 19 of the M6. Click here for a map.
Within the Parish is Shakerley Mere, an easily accessible haven for wildlife, birds and fish and Rudheath a 26 acre site protected by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust. Triathlon and cycling events are held regularly in the area.
